Director Clint Eastwood keeps making great movies, and American Sniper just adds to the list. The star of the movie, Chris Kyle (played by Bradley Cooper) is known as the deadliest sniper in U.S. military history.
He wasn’t an average foot soldier; Chris Kyle was sent to Iraq with one mission – to protect his fellow soldiers. His accuracy on the battlefield saved hundreds of lives and got him the nickname “Legend.” The movie keeps the viewers glued to their seats (not even leaving for the bathroom!) There was never a break in action, whether he was saving lives on the battlefield or protecting his family at home.
After returning home from the war, the thoughts of being in a fire fight couldn’t leave his mind which impacted his daily life greatly. He couldn’t eat, sleep or even take a walk without the thought of being in Iraq crossing his mind. Chris Kyle was obviously impacted greatly by PTSD and the daily struggles of this movie make it a must see.
